Drew Perry, a direct descendant of Commodore Perry and head brewer of Double Nickel Brewing (New Jersey), and Michael Donohue, his old brewing companion and head brewer of DD4D Brewing (Ehime). An international collaboration beer realized beyond the sea by the connection of the two.

<Beer Note>
A refreshing aroma that combines the scent of roast and cedar, obtained by carefully aging a high-degree stout with cedar. The mouthfeel is silky, and the accent of seaweed salt brings out a faint sweetness. You can also enjoy the complex aftertaste of prunes and brandy. I can't wait to see how it ages over the next few years.

<Overview>
On June 3, 1853, the Black Ship Fleet led by Commodore Perry appeared off the coast of Uraga. About 150 years later, on June 3rd, a dark beer created by Drew Perry, a descendant of Perry, will be released in Japan! This time, we will be visiting a dark beer made by a descendant of Commodore Perry. "THE COMMODORE AND THE KITSUNE" is a limited-edition Kurofune beer that reproduces the history of both countries. Drew, head brewer of Double Nickel Brewing, is an old friend of DD4D Brewing's head brewer, Michael Donohue. This collaboration was made possible thanks to that relationship. Pre-sale in the United States, sales start in Japan on June 3rd.
