4th Anniversary Project DD4D Everyone's Challenge | DD4D fashion leader & shy entertainer REIYA in Senfunemachi

Thanks to you, DD4D BREWING will celebrate its 4th anniversary on May 30, 2023. Therefore, we have released a special page "DD4D Everyone's Challenge" with the theme of our vision "Creating a world where everyone can pursue their own path" !

We hope that through craft beer, we can create an opportunity for as many people as possible to take the first step by letting them know about the challenges and off-duty moments of the DD4D members.

How did you get into DD4D?

I have been involved in DD4D BREWING since its launch because I used to work in apparel for a DD4D affiliate. Right after I came to Matsuyama for university, on the second day, I happened to find DD4D while looking for clothes. I got to know the store manager at that time, and while we were talking about various things, he asked me, "What do you want to do with your part-time job? What kind of place do you want to work?" I was connected to my father) and had an interview the next day. I worked in the Nano Universe for two and a half years when I was a student. Keita-san, who is two years older than me (representative of Yamanouchi), has been taking care of me since that time. After graduating, I worked at an apparel shop in Tokyo, but I often went out drinking with Keita, who was starting up a brewery in Tokyo around the same time. What are you talking about? Then one day, I was invited to join Matsuyama because DD4D had renewed and started a new brewery. The days at the apparel shop in Tokyo were stimulating and I gained a lot of experience, but I have memories of T's Factory in Matsuyama, where I grew up, and I was blessed with good seniors and friends at university. When I think about it now, I feel like I'm coming back here again.

Tell us your challenge!

I want DD4D to be a store where you can say, "If you come here, something will change." For that reason, I wonder if I should be conscious of "being popular"! Even if I say ..., it doesn't mean that I'm popular with the opposite sex. In order to entertain the customers more, I need to improve myself, and to do that, I have to take the initiative to be a cool adult, but after all, the birth of my son makes me feel even stronger as a father. became. The word “challenge” tends to be a rigid one, but I think it’s a good idea for me to simply be “popular”. “Because we are entertainers!” I still admire the boss of an apparel store in Tokyo, where I entered as a new graduate, as my teacher. The teacher's words left an impression on me, and I have always valued "making customers happy" beyond the process of selling clothes. It's been four years since DD4D opened. As a tool for customers to enjoy themselves, I offered beer as well as clothes, and customers who came to drink began to choose clothes, and the scenery I had envisioned gradually took shape. There is a response. Now that I am allowed to make original goods, I am used to being the face of the store.
In my daily communication with customers, I gain confidence from random events, and there are times when I think I still have a long way to go. I feel once again that every moment here in Senbunecho has shaped me without my realizing it. In this way, I want each member of the customer service to play a leading role and experience new discoveries. And I want to make it a place where not only customers but also everyone involved in the store can be positive.

When you're not at DD4D, what do you do when you're off?

Since my son Hanamichi was born, the three of us have often gone out together. On my days off, I cherish the time I spend with my family. Also, I go to the sauna a lot. In Matsuyama, Soramori (Higashi Dogo Soramori) is by far my favourite. The location, the temperature of the sauna and water bath, the comfort of the guests, everything is best after 11 o'clock in the evening.

Message to our customers!

At first, we started with two employees, and we were able to celebrate our 4th anniversary with the support of various people! We have more new staff, more things we can do, and more possibilities. Under such circumstances, I will continue to evolve what I can give back and convey, and make DD4D Chibune a place where people can enjoy the Honmaru even more! By all means, I hope that you will continue to watch over me for a long time, and sometimes make fun of me. Thank you for your continued support!
