Please tell us how you got into DD4D!
When I was in college, I was involved in medical research, and since then I have been interested in the manufacturing industry. In graduate school, I was making substances called labeling materials for monitoring cancer cells. Specifically, I am researching whether a luminescent system that uses firefly light can be applied as a material to investigate the mechanism of human cancer cells. Through manufacturing, I thought that I could create a new culture by connecting various technologies, so after graduating, I joined a trading company that handles chemicals and pharmaceuticals. I was in charge of sales. Trading raw materials was rewarding, but it's hard to see what kind of products are ultimately delivered to consumers. I wanted to be involved in manufacturing on the manufacturer's side, where I could consistently design things such as what kind of thoughts were made, what kind of person would sell it, what kind of place it would be delivered to, and what kind of person would drink it, so I began thinking about changing jobs. rice field. Nowadays, changing jobs is becoming commonplace in our generation, but before deciding on the next job, I wanted to experience something that I can only do now that I can use in the future, so I went abroad. While studying abroad in Italy, I was exposed to food culture, leather products, and manufacturing in the entertainment and creative areas that are different from my previous fields. So, I was influenced by the way Japanese people were active in the field, and I started to think, "I want to start doing something myself!" I was curious about the craft beer industry, which I have been interested in since I was in college. From social media, I could feel the atmosphere of a mixture of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Each member has a role to play. I want to be here! I inquired about it. I exchanged emails with the representative, sent my resume, and was hired. I will be coming to Ehime at DD4D. I think he has the lightness of footwork and the strength to immerse himself in something he's passionate about (laughs). It's been about three weeks since I moved to Matsuyama. When I finally got myself in order.
Tell us your challenge!
In a good way, I want to eliminate the boundaries between work and private life and absorb each other. I want to incorporate what I feel from my own perspective into my work, absorb the special skills, individuality, and ways of thinking of various members, and make use of them in my private life.
When looking for cutting-edge or even better things, I'm afraid to get my hands on all the unknown things. In my previous job in the chemical industry, the same products have been used for hundreds of years, so when I was working in sales, I used to deal with the same products every time. I think it's hard to change, but try it first, and even if you fail, it may lead to the next one, and if you know it's no good, you can eliminate one option. My motto is that if I have the physical strength to do something, I will try it anyway. I think I can handle any environment, so I don't think there's anything I'm not good at. I'm not good at coriander, and I'm not good at ghosts either (laughs). I think that anything is absorbed and nothing is wasted.
When it comes to DD4D, I would like to become more well-known both in Japan and overseas. Of course, I want people to know how delicious beer is, but everyone pursues deliciousness, so I want to spread the culture by combining beer with music, beer with something else. What I was thinking about when I was in college, even if it was lumped together with research, was that there were people who would buy the things I made, mice that could be injected with the substances, and cameras that could monitor their movements. , that the whole is multiplied and things progress. Even if it seems unrelated at first glance, when you unravel it, you will find that many things are crossed, and I think that new technology and interesting things will be born when various people cooperate with each other. I will explore the middle ground while incorporating the experience of my previous job and the way of thinking here. Without being bound by preconceived notions, I believe that the members of DD4D will be able to express the idea that perhaps this is something that lives in beer.
When you're not at DD4D, what do you do when you're off?
I've been playing rugby since I was in third grade, and I still enjoy playing and watching. I've just started living in Matsuyama, but it's a place full of nature, so I'd like to try camping, fishing, and even hunting if anyone knows. I'm also interested in skateboarding, and I also like animals, so I'd like to enjoy things like the zoo with everyone in DD4D. Outdoors, fashion, art, anything that has a wide range of interests. Even if I say anything, I tend to try things that someone recommends first, and then make my own decisions. For clothes, I especially like Barbour, a long-established British brand. It's fun to see things that change over time. I'm a Star Wars fan when it comes to movies. It may be difficult to enter a long history or a series, but I think it's interesting that the creators change over time.
Message to our customers!
I haven't been to Ehime yet, so if you have the opportunity to meet me at the store, please let me know what shops you recommend! I would like to expand the number of fans in Shikoku and all over the country who are close to us, like the locals who always support us at our stores and opening stores. Let's continue to make delicious beer, share this atmosphere with beer, clothes, and members, and liven up Japan!
Born in Tokyo in 1992. At graduate school, he was involved in medical research and created a substance called a labeling material for monitoring cancer. Since then, I have been interested in the manufacturing industry, wondering if I can create a new culture by combining things and technologies from various fields. After graduating, he was in charge of sales at a trading company dealing in chemicals and pharmaceuticals, then retired and moved to Italy. Take a wandering trip while learning a language for a year. After returning to Japan, he joined DD4D in April 2023 and moved to Matsuyama because he wanted to be involved in craft beer, which he had liked since he was a student. I have been playing rugby since I was in third grade. Try anything first! Expecting such a rugbymanship (?), the positions assigned to him at DD4D are "everything!" You might see him riding a bicycle with a ball near the factory in Mitsu. (instagram @remotabi )
